holby city christmas special"Elliots Wonderful Life" is the Christmas special from the Bafta winning Series Ten of Holby City. Written by Tony McHale, it is an adaptation of the 1940's Christmas favourite, Frank Capra's "It's A Wonderful Life", with Elliot Hope (Paul Bradley) discovering what the lives of his family and friends would be like if he had never been born, a wish fulfilled by an angel called George (Richard Briers).
